Football Queensland Wide Bay are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated head coaches and assistant coaches to join the Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP) program.
The program is based on player development for children aged 9 to 12 years old, with a focus on the development of game-related functional skills.
A key building block in the Football Australia National Football Curriculum, the aim of SAP is to educate children during these golden ages of motor skill learning to create technically gifted football players.
The ideal coach is someone who is committed to nurturing players through this next vital phase of development, is willing to travel to carnivals across Queensland and host weekly training sessions.
Successful coaches will receive mentoring from Football Queensland’s Coach Development Unit, Kappa apparel and further coach education opportunities. Coaches must hold a minimum qualification of a Skill Training Certificate with remuneration offered depending on the coaches qualifications.
Applications close Tuesday, 21 September.
